Our congregation is called the Congregation of the Mother of The Redeemer. We consist of Brothers and Priests.
What Do We Do?
We do many things, including having fun!
We Pray
Our prayer schedule is divided up throughout the day. For brothers we pray three times a day! The priest have to pray two more times than the brothers. Of course one cannot forget about the Rosary. We pray the Rosary everyday together. Sounds like “so much” right? With God all things are possible so why leave him hanging?
We Work
Of course we do not only pray! As stated, in the bible, “faith of itself, if it does not have “works”, is dead.” (James 2:17) Haha! Get it? Oh . . . never mind. Anyways the congregation works everyday, every priest and brother have their own jobs. We support each other and move forward.
We Play
Playing? Such a childish term, one might think. As Jesus stated, “Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3) We do a range of things from playing sports to video games, watching movies to camping. Now who said that when you choose a religious life you cannot have fun?
